Responding to ICE in places of worship 


Recently the United States Government authorities announced that they will permitted ICE to arrest people and carry out enforcement actions in and near places such as churches and schools, marking a departure from long-standing policy to avoid so-called sensitive areas. Friends have objected to this decision and filed a lawsuit to stop it. Philadelphia Yearly Meeting PYM held a called meeting to answer questions about this lawsuit. Our Meeting house and facilities are wheelchair accessible with assistance to open outside door. Assistance with navigating the gravel parking lot is available as needed.
